Software Factory
Software Factory provides an environment bringing together research, education, industry collaboration, and entrepreneurship in the area of software engineering. The focus is on development of early-stage, software-intensive products and services that require concept and technical validation. The environment includes know-how in the areas of rapid software prototyping, experimentation, learning, as well as software processes and architectures suited for different product and service development stages.
– Validation design for software-intensive product and service concepts
– Validation design for early-stage software technology choices
– Design and implementation of continuous experimentation
– Project-based exploration of design concepts with student and researcher participation
– Learning of software development team building, processes, and architectures through hands-on projects and with support from research
– Proof-of-concept prototype or MVP co-development for e.g. investor demonstration purposes
